Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SERV mobile app and website (collectively, the “Service”), operated by SERV (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service Description
SERV is a padel community platform for Pakistan that allows players to:
- Discover padel clubs and contact them for court bookings via WhatsApp.
- Record 2v2 match results and track a padel rating.
- Connect with other players through open matches and friend invites.
- Manage upcoming and past court bookings.
SERV does not process payments, manage real-time court availability, or guarantee court availability at any club.
2. Accounts
You may use SERV as a guest (Lite account) or by signing in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not share your account with others.
You must be at least 13 years old to use SERV. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. User Responsibilities
When using SERV, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about yourself and match results.
- Treat other players and club staff with respect.
- Not create fake accounts or manipulate the rating system.
- Not post or share content that is abusive, discriminatory, or illegal.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
4. Match Recording and Rating System
Match results are recorded by players and confirmed by all participants. Your padel rating (1.0–7.0 Elo scale) is calculated automatically based on confirmed match results.
We reserve the right to correct rating anomalies caused by system errors or confirmed abuse. Rating decisions made by the SERV system are final.
5. Match Disputes
If you believe a match result has been recorded incorrectly, contact us at hello@playforserv.com within 7 days of the match date. We will review and correct genuine errors. We do not adjudicate disputes about match outcomes between players.
6. Court Bookings
Booking requests made through SERV are sent to clubs via WhatsApp. SERV acts as a discovery and connection platform only — we are not a party to any booking agreement between you and a club. All booking confirmations, cancellations, and payment arrangements are between you and the club directly.
7. Intellectual Property
All SERV brand assets, design, code, and content are owned by SERV. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any SERV content without written permission.
You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., profile name). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it within the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that club availability information is accurate. Use the Service at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SERV is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to disputes with clubs, failed bookings, or rating inaccuracies.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or manipulate the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@playforserv.com.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
